About

The American section of Beverly Hills Schools was established in 2007 as part of the Beverly Hills International School Authority. It is a day school located in the Beverly Hills compound, in the 6th of October City, privately owned.

The Beverly Hills American School provides consistent and high-quality education. The faculty and staff ensure the integrity of the school's mission, vision, and beliefs through collaboration, periodic review, assessment, and purposeful integration of the vision into the curriculum. Administrators regularly refer to specific elements of the vision during faculty meetings and professional development sessions. In their first, second, and third years, new teachers are provided with multiple references to the school's mission, vision, and beliefs during new teacher training. Parents are also given the opportunity to collaborate to respond to and evaluate the vision as it impacts each of them. The four essential questions of learning (What do we expect students to learn? How will we know when students have learned it? How will we respond when students do not learn? How will we respond when students do learn?) addressed in each meeting are aligned with the vision. Displaying the vision throughout the building serves as a constant reminder to all stakeholders.
