Mavericks began in December 2016 with the goal of empowering children to make a difference in the world. According to the Oxford Dictionary, a maverick is "someone who is unconventional or independent-minded," and that's precisely why we chose this name for our schools. We want to cultivate a generation of independent, non-intellectual thinkers and workers whose creative endeavors leave a mark on the world.
We started as a mixed group of young people and experienced professionals, equipped with educational and managerial knowledge to capitalize on this dream of building a scalable and accessible experience for Egyptians, and perhaps for the world.
Mavericks International Schools has a British section in October and an American section located in Katameya.
